A professional inspection revealed that the damp wall wasn't coming from below, but from the roof. Therefore, this method is ineffective in this case. Four stars only because the package was incomplete. The trowels and funnel were missing, and the spray bottle was broken.

It all depends on the application! Unfortunately, it didn't work for us on the first try, which the technician said was due to our application. Luckily, they gave us a significant discount on a replacement shipment, so we tried again. This time, the wall was properly prepared (loose plaster, etc., removed), and now, after four weeks, the drying process has begun. The damp patches are gone.
