The size of the area to be treated depends primarily on how the moisture manifests itself in your basement. The best sealing is achieved with treatment of a large area.
For only a small, damp area, you can apply Thor Protect directly to the area and within a 1-meter radius around it.
Please note, however, that the water may find a new path and reappear elsewhere. In that case, you can treat these areas with Thor Protect.
Since Thor Protect can also be applied to the remaining area afterwards, this treatment is well suited for testing its effectiveness and for solving the moisture problem in the short to medium term .
Especially if the dampness is already noticeable over a large area or in several places , you should apply Thor Protect more extensively. In this case, apply Thor Protect to the entire damp wall and also treat adjacent walls at least half a meter around the corner.
The moisture is then sealed off over a large area and permanently , so no further work is necessary for you .
The application is simple. With your order, you will receive comprehensive and easy-to-understand instructions to guarantee your basement is watertight.

After priming, apply the Thor Protect Finish in the same way. Apply it more thinly than the primer; the wall only needs to be lightly coated.
After 14 days, Thor Protect will have hardened and your basement will be sealed.
